We carry three distinctly different systems — Keratin (mildest, protein infusion), Magic Sleek (middle, modern smoothing system), and Matrix OptiSmooth (strongest, thio relaxer). Same day color is permitted with both Keratin and Magic Sleek; OptiSmooth requires a 2 week buffer because it chemically restructures the hair. We recommend based on your hair, not on what's on the shelf.

Curl treatments

Smoothing is one half of the texture conversation. The other half is curl. Today's perms are nothing like the perms of the past — modern formulas are gentler, more precise, and designed to add the kind of movement, body, or shape your hair does not want to do on its own.

Perms work best on hair in good condition. We will always be honest at consultation — if your hair has been through significant lightening, frequent chemical services, or is currently fragile, we may recommend a conditioning runway before a perm or suggest a different texture solution. Our job is to protect your hair first.

Both Keratin and Magic Sleek allow color the same day. The only treatment that requires a waiting period for color is Matrix OptiSmooth — because it's a thio relaxer that chemically alters the hair structure, we recommend at least 2 weeks before or after color so the hair can fully stabilize.
