What Are Hairdreams Extensions — and Why Does the Colorist Matter?
There is a reason my clients have worn extensions for a decade or more: the Hairdreams system is unlike anything else on the market, and the colorist applying it matters as much as the brand printed on the box. I became one of the first certified Hairdreams specialists in New York in 2002, and more than two decades later, it is still the only extension system I trust for my clients.
Hairdreams uses 100% ethically sourced European Remy human hair — every cuticle on every strand running the same direction, just like your natural hair. That is what lets the hair move, catch light, and age gracefully. Mass market extensions strip the cuticle to save money, which is why they start matting and tangling within weeks.
But the system is only half the work. The other half is color. Hair that does not match perfectly looks like hair that does not belong to you. As a Master Colorist, I hand blend the tone, depth, and dimension of every set to your exact hair before a single bond is placed. That is the difference between hair you wear and hair that becomes yours.
Hairdreams gives us four attachment methods to choose from — Hand Rolled Individual Bond, Tape In Secrets, Standard Tape In, and Laser Beam Nano Bond. The right method is chosen during your consultation, based on your hair, density, and lifestyle. Not the other way around.
If you have tried extensions before and been disappointed — by the look, the comfort, or the longevity — I promise, this is not the same experience. Come in for a consultation and I will show you the difference myself.
